Bright Beginnings Third Annual Soup Sale

Bright Beginnings held its 3rd Annual Soup Sale Fundraiser on February 20. Many thanks to our soup makers:  Blakeney Pierpont, Elisabeth Pell, Sue Maters, Michael Cruthird, Judy Rowe, Gina Edwards, Rene Duplessis and Penny Elkins.  The soups were absolutely delicious!  Thanks also to our volunteers: Barbie Roberts, Jane Ann Maddox, Mischa Woods, Joey Kelly and Ashley Baker.  Joe Davidson and Frank Simmons with First Baptist Church of Gulfport were extremely helpful with logistics and clean-up.  The church’s kitchen was an ideal location for staging/pick-up. You guys were awesome!  Clients from Brandi’s Hope in Pascagoula volunteer to roll our napkins and spoons together and put the paper napkin rings on. Michelle Nall, thank you for coordinating their efforts. We appreciate the help! We had enough leftover soup to make a donation to Feed My Sheep in Gulfport.  We are so proud to have the support of our community and we were so glad to share our blessings. Thanks also to everyone who bought, sold and delivered soup.  The event was a success due to so many people pulling together.
