My name is Akeba Jackson-Harris, OTR/L, and I have been a practicing pediatric Occupational Therapist since 1999. I am a graduate of the University of South Alabama. I am a wife and mother of two sons. I truly enjoy helping children reach their fullest potential.
Cory Fury, OT
Cory graduated from LSU Medical Center School of Allied Health Professions with a Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Therapy. She also graduated from Columbia University Teachers College with a Master’s degree in Motor Learning and Control where she studied the functions of the brain and how those functions or dysfunctions effect movement and learning. Cory has over 25 years experience and specializes in Pediatrics (birth to three year old population). She works with children with a variety of diagnoses and dysfunctions, including neurological and sensory disorders, autism, and physical disabilities. A native of New Orleans, she now calls the Mississippi Gulf Coast home.
Elisabeth Pell, Executive Director
I graduated from the University of Mississippi Medical Center with a B.S. Degree in Physical Therapy in 1981 and practiced in multiple settings including in-patient and out-patient rehab, ICF-MR, home health, school districts and early intervention. As a staff therapist with Bright Beginnings, I serve children in Harrison, Stone, and George counties. I am married and have one son.
